அமைதியான முறையில் ஆர்ப்பாட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டவர்கள் மீது நிகழ்த்தப்பட்ட தாக்குதல்களை அமெரிக்கா வன்மையாக கண்டித்துள்ளது.
இது குறித்து இலங்கைக்கான அமெரிக்க தூதுவர் ஜூலி சங்(Julie Sung) தனது டுவிட்டரில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
அமைதியான முறையில் ஆர்ப்பாட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டவர்கள் மீது நிகழ்த்தப்பட்ட தாக்குதல்களை வன்மையாக கண்டிப்பதுடன் இதுகுறித்து உரியவாறு விசாரணைகளை நடத்துமாறு வலியுறுத்துகின்றோம் என அமெரிக்கத்தூதுவர் ஜூலி சங்(Julie Sung) மேலம் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
We condemn the violence against peaceful protestors today, and call on the government to conduct a full investigation, including the arrest & prosecution of anyone who incited violence. Our sympathies are with those injured today and we urge calm and restraint across the island.
